canadian youth summer camps for kids

Viewing the camp experience as a respite from the real world is somehow to miss the point --it is the real world-- simply getting dirty, trying to pull harder so your team wins, finding the friend you always wished for, being yourself -- it's the time of your life and the promise of the future.

Ekocamp offers:

• 15 hours of English training per week;
• a maximum of 10 students per group allowing for full participation by all students;
• qualified and experienced teachers;
• books and all educational material provided during the course at no extra charge;
• diplomas certifying efforts and achievements for each participant.

A short oral test will be held on arrival to qualify campers for the different levels: beginner, intermediate or advanced. Accordingly, courses will be held either in the morning or in the afternoon.
 

Our English language camp offers young people (10 to 16 years old):

• the benefits of living in an international environment;
• English language training;
• a Canadian wilderness experience in the Laurentians.

Ekocamp regular activities for kids

Swimming, water skiing, trampoline, river canoeing with overnight camping, archery, rock climbing, horseback riding, ball games, wilderness survival.

Optional activities

On top of the language program we offer:

• Visit to Montreal
• Visit to Ottawa
• Visit to Quebec city
• Water Park excursion
• Rafting

Schedule

• In summer sessions start every Friday from the end of June to the end of August. A minimum two-week stay is required.
• Different scheduling or program possibilities are available for groups upon request

In order to insure a place during your preferred period, the sooner you register your child the better the chance of being accepted. Last year we were full for July at the end of April.
